It's all about coverage. What good is a cell phone if people can't
even reach you at your number when you are at home or at the office,
if you can't call for help in case you have a problem during hike up
there in the hills or for emergency on some little road while driving
to Yosemite?
But which provider has the best coverage? Though question we can
only answer by having an independent organization go out there and
create coverage maps. Until we get those, we can only look at the maps
published by the wireless providers. I have put together a few maps
for the state of California, from
Verizon,

Look at the maps and draw your own conclusions. With just those maps, I
