Chinese New Year Parade '01

The pictures below were taken by Julien during the 2001 (or should I say 4697?) Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco. This is one of the few events in San Francisco that you are not allowed to miss. And there is nearly half a million people who don't want to miss that either, the streets of San Francisco will be crowded that day. So if I can give you only one advise for next year, here it is: go there early. Also see the official site, as well as the San Francisco Chronicle special coverage.
