Vehicle Description

This is a white Ford Escort in good condition. This was my commute car, and I put about 30 miles daily on it, with an occasional trip to LA and Tahoe. This is an efficient car, with an estimated 30 miles/gallon. A full tank lasts for about 280-300 miles (city/bay area highways), and 330 miles on fast highways.

This car is perfect for commuting to work and has a spacious trunk: The back seat folds down and I can easily put my mountain bike, 2-3 pair of skis or gear for 3 divers.

Registration is valid until August 2005, and smog check passed in August 2004.

Vehicle Condition

The vehicle is in good condition. In the four years I've owned it, it had no issue with it. All maintenance has been done, including oil changes. The rear bumper is cracked because I backed up into a pole. There is cosmetic damage only, and it would cost about $200 to change it (estimate by my body shop). The exterior paint is in good condition, but there are a few scratches and spots. The cloth interior is in good shape and has been recently steam cleaned.

The battery is brand new. I just changed the front tires, and the rear tires have about 5000 miles on them. I changed the oil and filter only a few days ago.

Term of Sale

Vehicle is available for showings and test drives in Mountain View during business hours and in Redwood City in the evening (please contact me to schedule an appointment). Payment is expected before pickup. Cash, cashier checks, money order and Paypal (Paypal or bank account funds only; no credit card) are accepted. Sale is final, and without warranty.

I'm asking $2500. The Blue Book lists this car at $2680.
